Welcome to the University Club of Pasadena
The University Club of Pasadena is a vibrant, active social Club with a variety of member activities and benefits. The Club honors the many traditions of its historic past and blends them with contemporary activities and benefits to meet the needs of its newer members. Chartered in 1922, the Club has long offered a quiet and congenial place for professionals to meet for breakfast or lunch.
More recently, the daily activities have been expanded to include afternoon wi-fi use in our spacious Lounge, along with daily cocktail and appetizer service each evening. These additions, along with our weekly Sports Night and Tuesday gourmet dinners, have attracted young professionals whose lifestyles more readily allow them to attend evening events rather than breakfast or lunch.
For others, the ability to use clubhouse rooms during working hours free of charge is a bonus; and, almost all members make use of the over 50 clubs worldwide with which the University Club has reciprocal rights. Membership privileges are extended to spouses, who utilize the Club in the same manner as the member.
Throughout our history, many distinguished scientists and business professionals have joined the Club and served as speakers. Among the notables are Albert Einstein, professor Edwin Hubbell and Avery Dennison founder Stan Avery. Today our membership is complemented with business women, men and professionals representing a variety of interests and backgrounds that give the Club an exciting and diverse mix of members. One can join any of a number of tables and engage in stimulating and thoughtful conversation.
